FAQ’s

Do people say you are “pitchy”? Do you find it challenging to sing the notes you hear accurately?

I can help you with exercises specifically targeted to train your ear, balance your voice, and help you to become comfortable with recreating the sound you hear more accurately. You can learn to enjoy singing without the constant worry of “am I in tune?”.

Book a course of lessons with me to start your individual training programme (which will be developed especially for you).

Are you an expert in your profession, but feel like a beginner when you sing?

I can help you find your voice, and give you the tools, strategies and skills you need to build the confidence (and comfort) to sing in a safe and relaxed space.

I work with professionals and executives to find effective and efficient singing techniques (tailored to each individual client).

Do you find accessing high notes difficult? Do you feel tense (“tight”) higher up in your range? Is it a challenge to create any projection when singing?

I can help you learn to relax and adjust to find those higher notes (and additional power) when you sing, without over-working and tensing; these are the tools and techniques you can learn and develop to maximise your range and singing potential.

Do you want to learn to sing in the comfort of your own home?

I offer online singing tuition as a speciality, so you can enjoy singing lessons in the safe space of your own living room, without having to travel anywhere (useful if you are cautious about contact with others, with regard to covid, or due to underlying health conditions).

Are you looking to improve your general well-being? Did you know singing has proven health benefits?

I can help you invest in your voice, and benefit from a whole-body, whole-mind connection, which singing offers, whatever your age.

Let me help you maximise the anaerobic and neurological benefits of regular singing, in a safe and relaxed environment.

Do you have trouble holding long notes? Do you run out of breath when singing long phrases? Do you sometimes feel like you don’t have enough time to breathe when singing?

I can help you feel comfortable with your breath in song. Breathing when singing is task-dependent - Often we work too hard (or tense up) in a challenging section of a song, which has a negative effect on the breath and how we use it.

Learn targeted exercises and how to navigate (and find time and space for) your breath when singing (whatever genre of music).

Are you a trainer? A teacher? Do you speak at meetings all day? Then you’re a professional voice user.

If you don’t know how to care for your voice, you could end up feeling vocally tired all the time, or even end up losing your voice on a regular basis.

I can help create a targeted programme of gentle speaking (and singing) exercises to warm-up and warm-down your voice, which will help you maintain a much more stable and consistent vocal health long-term.

Would you like to build your confidence in singing (and perhaps life in general)?

Come and explore your voice and find out what you can do. I can help you discover and expand your comfort zones (with tailored exercises) in a safe and relaxed environment.
